Hi guys, the next post is the first of a series of several, where I show you a proposal of specific exercises for swimmers, in order to improve the levels of general strength and Core. Although it is possible to say that many are applicable exercises to other sports modalities or for sportsmen fans to any sport or physical activity.
Before showing you the first of the exercises I propose, mention that the material used is of the Red Cord brand and unlike the Trx it has two anchor points, so in my opinion it provides many more work possibilities. To see the difference between both devices, here are two links to videos:
The exercise that I present to you today is:
1. PUSH-UP-PLUS:

                        Starting Position:

Kneeling under the Redcord Trainer
Straps in hands
Straps at waist level
Instruction:
1. Keep body straight
2. Lean forward by flexion shoulder to 90 degrees
3. Lower body by flexing elbows (keep elbowsout from body)
4. Return to starting position by extending elbows, keep extending arms as far as you can.
